For many people, the diagnosis ‘infertility’ is like a verdict, uttered by cruel fate. This problem can change a person’s life, disturb psychological and emotional state and impact relationships within the family. Both classical and alternative medicine came to the conclusion that male and female infertility may be successfully treated.
In Ukraine, PARENS Center is a leading clinic for reproductive medicine, cytogenetic and molecular-genetic research and both male and female infertility are effectively treated there. Experienced professionals, advanced technologies and highly accurate equipment help to identify the causes and treat even the most severe cases of infertility.
Comprehensive examination. A comprehensive examination of the reproductive system (laboratory and instrumental tests, including genetic screening, evaluation of ovarian reserve, expert ultrasound and x-ray diagnostics, hysterosalpingography, and if necessary – diagnostic laparoscopy and hysteroscopy).
Andrology. An andrologist performs a wide range of examinations to diagnose and treat male infertility. Computer-assisted Sperm Analysis (CASA) is performed along with the evaluation of genetic markers of spermatogenesis. Laboratory preparation of ejaculate for artificial insemination using the technology to facilitate the main parameters of sperm concentration and their motility.
In-Vitro Fertilization. It is the most effective and widespread treatment method for female infertility. In-Vitro Fertilization (IVF) is prescribed in case of fallopian tubes obstruction and unexplained infertility. An egg is retrieved from a woman’s body and artificially fertilized. For a few days, the embryos develop in an incubator, and after that, a fertility specialist transfers them into the uterus.
Intrauterine insemination (IUI). Like IVF, this procedure is prescribed when it is impossible to identify the cause of infertility. Sperm is injected into the uterus during ovulation. The doctor can simultaneously prescribe hormonal stimulation.
TESA and TESE. Doctors recommend applying these special methods if the ejaculate of a man who has faced infertility lacks spermatozoa. The doctor performs testicular biopsy using microsurgical medical equipment to retrieve healthy spermatozoa.
ICSI, IMSI, PICSI. Artificial Іntra Cytoplasmіc Sperm Іnjectіon (ICSI) and Intracytoplasmic morphologically selected sperm injection (IMSI) using specialized computer assessment system. In exceptionally severe cases of male infertility, IVF is performed with the PICSI procedure, i.e. additional assessment of spermatozoa maturity and genetic integrity.
GIFT. The eggs retrieved as a result of egg collection are bond with spermatozoa using conventional embryologic methods. After that, they are transferred to fallopian tubes. The natural environment for egg fertilization and embryo growth is created in uterus.
Hatching. Laser microoperation to cut the embryo shell. It increases the probability of embryo implantation.
Donor programs. The center successfully performs egg donation and surrogacy programs.
Hundreds of healthy children who were born are the result of creative and coordinated work of the doctors, nurses, laboratory technicians and junior medical staff in the Centre for Reproductive Medicine Parens. Individual approach to every couple’s case, analysis and optimization of the treatment administered earlier, selection of the methods appropriate for achieving fast and effective results – those are the main principles of our work.
